The ancient Greeks believed in gods who were powerful but flawed beings. Their belief in these gods and the myths about them helped to explain human behavior and natural phenomena that were difficult for people to understand. Students will read a Greek myth and present the key components of that myth to the class. He/she will present the plot, characters, setting, theme, and natural phenomena explained in his/her myth. Each student will also present a character from mythology.
